Dr. Dye’s Orthopaedic practice is dedicated solely to evaluating and treating conditions of the knee. His particular interest is the early detection and prevention of osteoarthritis. He has published extensively on many aspects of the knee joint including its anatomy, evolution, function, internal sensory characteristics, the nature of patellofemoral pain, and advanced imaging. His work has been influential within the field of orthopaedics and he has been honored by the German Orthopaedic Trauma Society, the New Zealand Knee Society, and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports medicine. In addition to his academic interest in the knee he enjoys personally taking care of patients. Unlike other clinics with world-class surgeons, Dr. Dye sees, evaluates and treats every patient himself. Despite his academic success, Dr. Dye is “down to earth” and personable; he is able to explain the complex biology of the knee to patients in order to obtain the best possible long-term results. A knee with a torn meniscus that can be restored to function without arthritis for decades is an example of just such an approach. Most patients that have seen Dr. Dye recommend him to their friends and relatives.

This was far and away the best experience I've ever had with an orthopedist. Most of the time they have one foot out the door the whole time. Dr. Dye was patient, clear, helpful, nice, and knowledgeable. He listened to my problem, explained his evaluation, and answered all my myriad questions in a way that I could understand. If I could rate him higher than five stars I would, that was absolutely wonderful!
