I felt at ease and confident with his treatment decisions after having dealt with a terrible experience with another urologist . All of the staff were extremely helpful, and I am thankful that I have found someone who listens and cares about his patients.

Scott, err Dr. Kalinowski has a straight forward method of explanation of my condition and the tests needed to continue diagnosis. One of the comments he made "you are a complex man" illustrated that he understands that humans have many "systems" that all interact. First time I have ever heard a Doctor state to a patient.

Doctor Kalinowski is a native to the Valley, who returned after completing his medical training in the Midwest. He received a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Northwestern University in 1995. After briefly working in marketing and benefits consulting, he decided to pursue a career in medicine. He subsequently obtained his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Iowa in 2003 where he was inducted into both Alpha Omega Alpha (Top 10%) and the Gold Humanism Honor Society, an honor society that honors medical students for “demonstrating excellence in clinical care, leadership, compassion and dedication to service.”
Dr. Kalinowski then completed two years of training in General Surgery followed by four years of Urology training at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. There he trained in all aspects of Urology with a focus on minimally invasive surgery including laparoscopy and robotic surgery, Urologic Oncology, stone surgery, and female urology. During residency, Dr. Kalinowski developed a special interest in international medicine and has spent time in underserved areas in Africa providing medical care.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Kalinowski enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, and traveling.
