Born & raised in Southern California, Dr. Patel graduated from the University of California at Irvine with a B.S. in Biological Sciences. She received her Doctorate of Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2007, where she gained extensive experience in ocular disease, pediatric care, contact lens fitting and primary care. Dr. Patel is dedicated to the full scope of optometry, but takes special interest in custom contact lens fittings and co-managing glaucoma, diabetes and high blood pressure. In addition to being a therapeutic optometrist, Dr. Patel is certified as a glaucoma specialist. Dr. Patel has been happily married for 10 years and is the proud parent of 2 young boys, ages 2 and 4. She has been a proud resident of Pearland for the past 7 years. Her hobbies include traveling, culinary arts, health & fitness, yoga, and of course, studying the eye.

My five year old daughter was seen by Dr. Patel and I was very impressed. This place is very kid friendly. After the exam she got to pick a toy from the toy chest & they had a kids play area & tons of selection for kids & adults.
