About Dr. Zubin Chacko
Zubin Chacko, OD, received his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry (UHCO) in 2017, where he was honored with a Clinical Letter of Excellence and chosen as the student graduation commencement speaker by his peers. Prior to his optometry training, Dr. Chacko graduated from Houston Baptist University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Mathematics in 2002, followed by completing both an MBA and MHA from the same institution.
As a licensed Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist, Dr. Chacko specializes in diagnosing and managing various retinal conditions, dry eye, and ocular surface disease. Dr. Chacko is fluent in English and Malayalam and is also proficient in conducting basic Spanish examinations. His treatment philosophy centers on establishing strong patient relationships to better understand their visual needs.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Dr. Chacko is an avid reader and enjoys watching Marvel and other superhero movies. He cherishes spending quality time with his immediate family and friends.

Dr Chacko is my new optometrist. He is very knowledgeable and patient he explained what was going on in depth and why
Prior to each specific exam he explained what I could expect and was reassuring through the procedure
Although my insurance did not cover the visit, to be a patient of Dr chacko is a privilege his staff gives 1:1 undivided attention

I was running late because my dentist appointment was running a bit behind. I called this office, and they gave me a 10 min late window, which I met. When I got there, they asked me to sit and wait. After a 20 min wait, a person came back and told me that because I was 10 min late, the doctor wanted to reschedule!
