She was amazing. She showed a great level of care and did more for me than any doctor I've seen so far. Somehow, the office wasn't notified that I had an appointment, however, they saw me anyway. Amazing doctor.

I am originally from Southern part of India. I have been in USA for over 40 years. I got all my postgraduate training in USA. I did my Obstetrics and Gynecology residency from Tufts university hospital in Boston, Mass, fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology/ Infertility from Brigham and Women's and Harvard Medical school and uniformed Services university of Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland. Following my training I became a faculty in the Ob & Gyn department in university of North Carolina Medical School at Chapel Hill, NC. I joined the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in 1984 and was a faculty and reproductive Endocrinology Division chief. After about 25 years of academic life, I Decided to go into private practice in the Metropolitan New Orleans area.
I have been active in the American Association of Physicians of Indian origin, local and state organization, India association of New Orleans. I have participated in health fairs and given many lectures to the public on women's health issues.
My family has supported me in all my activities, and has been there for me always.
My leisure time is spent in gym, reading, arts and crafts and listening to classical music
I perform minimally invasive or Robotic surgery, surgery to correct infertility using microsurgical techniques such as microsurgical tubal ligation reversals, removal of fibroids, laser surgery for endometriosis, most of the surgery utilized in routine practice of gynecology and also corrective surgeries of female genital anomalies due to birth defects.
I have done basic research in reproductive endocrinology and published papers in peer reviewed journals.. I love teaching and use every opportunity to teach.
I am the president of a Biotechnology corporation called " Protegene Corporation". We have developed a nutritional supplement for Breast health support " Breast Safeguard Susthana" based on our basic research findings using human Breast cancer cells in vitro. This product has been marketed on line and available for purchase on line.

Waited 45 minutes before I was seen by the doctor, she was adamant to the point of pushy to perform unnecessary procedures citing that my insurance would cover it. The testing and mammogram I needed could not be done in her office (despite me explaining what I needed at the time I made the appointment and upon my arrival) so now I have to have them done at another location. The hour and a half appointment was truly a waste of time.
