Born and raised in New Orleans, Dr. Bill Beacham graduated from Tulane University School of Medicine and then did his Obstetric and Gynecologic residency training at the Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. He then returned to Louisiana, where he has been practicing Obstetrics and Gynecology for over 25 years at North Oaks OB/GYN. Dr. Beacham is the senior Obstetrician on Labor and Delivery and Chairman of the Obstetrics and Pediatrics Department at North Oaks Health System. Dr. Beacham is also a past Chief of Staff of North Oaks Health System, as well as a long-term member of the Credentials Department. A Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Beacham is also a diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Beacham has maintained his board certification by participating in yearly voluntary recertification over the last ten years. He is currently a Board Member of the Louisiana Maternal and Infant Coalition. Dr. Beacham has been honored by his peers as one of the "Best OB/GYNs" by New Orleans Magazine. He has also been designated as "One of the Best Doctors in America" by the Best Doctors National Organization. His areas of interest include the treatment of Menopause, Geriatric Gynecology, Laparoscopic Gynecology Surgery, Contraception, and the full range of care for the pregnant woman. Away from his medical practice, Dr. Beacham enjoys tennis, cycling, gardening, cooking, reading and watching movies with his teenage son.
