Dr. Bafna is a board-certified ophthalmologist who earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Michigan. He completed his ophthalmology residency at Baylor College of Medicine’s Cullen Eye Institute, followed by a one-year fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery at the New England Eye Center. He has extensive experience treating laser vision correction patients and has published and presented several peer-reviewed papers in ophthalmology, including two chapters on laser vision correction. Dr. Bafna has received numerous honors, including the prestigious Heed Ophthalmic Foundation Fellowship Award.
In addition, Dr. Bafna offers a unique perspective in treating his patients, having undergone the LASIK procedure himself. He currently resides with his wife and two children in the greater Cleveland area. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling and has visited over 25 countries.
