Dr. McCants grew up in Kansas City, and then came to Texas for all of her schooling. She received her bachelor's degree from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth. She then went across the DFW metroplex to the University of Texas at Southwestern for Medical School. She then began her career at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas as a resident physician in obstetrics and gynecology.
She is board certified for the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is on the faculty for the resident training program at Baylor University Medical Center, and is committed to education of doctor's in training. She has many awards under her belt from medical school and residency. She is a member of AMA, TMA, Dallas County Medical Society, and a Junior Fellow of American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
