About Dr. Sherine Jose
Sherine Jose, DO, is a doctor of osteopathic medicine who started practicing in 2019 with clinical interests in preventative care, women’s health, and weight loss treatment. She enjoys caring for all members of the family. Dr. Jose earned her undergraduate degree in psychology from Austin College in Sherman, TX, after which she attended medical school at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth, TX. She completed her family medicine residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, TX. In addition to English, she is fluent in Malayalam and speaks some Spanish. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Jose is married and has three children. She enjoys spending time with her family, stitching and cooking.

I had health concerns I wanted to address with the doctor but she dismissed me saying that I would need to schedule another appt to discuss my concerns. Why would I scheduled another appt with a doctor who doesn’t care to begin with?

Dr Jose is an amazing Doctor. I would definitely recommend a friend to visit her. Dr Jose is honest and to the point. She likes to get to the root of the problem and for that I truly appreciate her.
I’m a new patient and just found out her office is moving an hour away from me and guess what I’m excited to say following her. Thank you again Dr Jose!

Dr jose is just awesome all the way around. She listens but more importantly she provides great medical advise. I finally found me a primary I trust and immediately respect. Having diabetes i have been scared of losing a limb or going blind. She covered everything from my feet awareness to my lungs.
Thank you doc for a great visit and I now know my diabetes in great hands.

Dr. Jose had a very positive and sunny demeanor, was easy to talk to. She is traditional in her approach, checking the boxes required and not seeing the whole person, though. Her training is likely why, but nothing special about the Care. I would recommend her if you are into completely traditional medicine.

Dr. Jose and her staff were all very professional, knowledgeable, and proficient. My issues were addressed quickly and compassionately and I have a plan for managing my health going forward. I will be glad to return to this practice for follow-ups and any future concerns.

The physician was professional and thorough. I liked her quite a bit. Prior to my appointment I asked about cost and was told they have no idea how much it will be and they would bill me according to my diagnosis. That meant I could have a bill in the thousands! So I called again to speak to someone in billing. They provided a range $$$. Perfect. In the room i was seen in there was a cost sheet and new patients were clearly $$$ When I went to check out and pay the receptionist said my cost was 77.2% MORE. When I asked why it was so high when I had a routine new patient visit (no labs, no blood draws, no prescriptions, nothing) no explanation. She couldn't tell me but stated she created the cost sheet...smdh. after making no effort to consult with anyone on price or provide a break down on charges, she finally went to the back and just said the cost was back to orig. amount. Who knows why it ever increased. Now im nervous about follow up visits. No medical transparency act followed.

Dr. Jose was lovely, personable, and didn’t rush. She listened to my problems and worked with me to find solutions. Very kind and empathetic. It was also super fast to get an appointment as a new patient. I’m so relieved to have finally found a PCP who isn’t just turning and burning patients, trying to see as many as possible in one day.
The office seems to have an all female staff, which I really appreciate. They had already confirmed my insurance before my appointment, and didn’t make me fill out any additional forms because I had already completed them via zocdoc.
I just saw her this morning and I’ve already gotten my partner to make an appointment with her as well : )

Everyone in this building was literally professional smile on their face greeted. You would common courtesy everything was wonderful. The weight staff was amazing. I just can’t put it into words. The wait time was not long at all. The directions to the building were exceptionally clear the lady at the dishes has this sweet personality. He just warms your heart. Everything step-by-step with the procedures were explained to me in great detail. Any questions that I had or concerns were answered. I love feeling good and with no worries.

It was difficult to see where the office was located. There are no signs, you need to enter one of the buildings to know it’s there. I attempted to call but no answer to ensure I was in the right area.
Other than location of chilling, it was an easy and smooth process. Staff was friendly and Doctor was friendly.

Dr. Jose is truly exceptional. She took a comprehensive and thorough history, asking insightful questions and carefully listening to every detail. Her bedside manner is warm, attentive, and compassionate; she immediately put me at ease. What stood out most was the time she took with me; I never felt rushed. She answered all of my questions thoughtfully and made sure I fully understood everything we discussed. It’s rare to find a physician who is both clinically thorough and genuinely caring, but Dr. Jose embodies both. I left feeling truly cared for and confident in my care. Highly recommend!

I visited for an annual health check. The doctor was thorough with the physical exam and seemed competent during the routine checks. However, when I tried to bring up other health concerns and pain I was experiencing, I was told that it was an annual checkup appointment and those issues would need to be discussed in a separate visit. That felt dismissive and unprofessional, especially when health concerns are time sensitive.
What was even more concerning was the follow up process. I received my blood work results on the patient portal the very soon. But I didn’t hear anything from the provider for nearly three weeks. I eventually had to message them myself, after which an assistant called and said they would send a prescription to my pharmacy. I waited several days with no update, only to find out from the pharmacy that no order had been received. I had to message them again to finally get the prescription sent.
Overall, I felt like I had to chase them down at every step.
