Sharon Giese, MD, is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from Northwestern University, completed her residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Stanford University Medical Center, and pursued a fellowship in Breast and Cosmetic Surgery at Georgetown University. Dr. Giese is fellowship-trained in breast procedures and is internationally recognized for her excellence in breast augmentation, augmentation lift, implant lift, uneven breast correction, and a variety of body contouring and large volume liposuction procedures. She is also known as a pioneer in the medical industry for developing her Signature Procedures, including the Natural Lift, Cleavage Lift, and T-Pellets.
Dr. Giese is a nationally recognized expert on the benefits of large volume liposuction and its role in weight loss. In addition to her private practice, she has served as a clinical assistant professor at the State University of New York (SUNY) Health Science Center in Brooklyn. She has consulted with the Federal Drug Administration (FDA) Device Squad on “Safety in Liposuction” and is the Medical Director and Founder of Arete Medical Foundation, Inc., which conducts medical research related to diabetes and its prevention. This foundation is dedicated to raising diabetes prevention awareness and mentoring young doctors by supporting their research efforts.
