I prefer to really get to know my clients so weekly therapy is always an option in addition to medication management. But even if you opt for solely medication management appointments I feel it’s necessary to really get to know people. I don’t follow a cookie cutter checklist format because it’s important to know why you aren’t sleeping or eating. It’s impossible to prescribe a medication without having a really good understanding of what is going on in someone’s life. My goal is to be a person in your life who tries to help you understand your motives, triggers and help you grow as a person.
I want to push you to challenge yourself, to cheer for your victories and be there to lend an ear when things aren’t going well. On a personal note, I have had wonderful therapists and psychiatrists in my life that helped me get through a lot of issues. I value the help that I was lucky enough to find and hope that I can be as instrumental in your life.
