Getting to know Dr. Mark Stracks

Good day to you, and welcome to my practice. I have been working with individuals and couples for ore then 23 years, and I look forward to meeting you. As a Board-certified psychiatrist and trained Jungian analyst, I bring a breadth of experience to helping my client's with their individual needs. I look forward to being of service to you. Please feel free to contact me so we may discuss your individual needs in more detail. Thank you, and have a wonderful day.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Every client and their circumstances are unique, and therefore how I approach each client and their needs is also unique. As a psychiatrist and Jungian analyst I am able to bring a variety of options to the table for clients to consider. These include treatment with medication, therapy interventions, and analysis. I am happy to coordinate with other providers to ensure continuity of care.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I always want to speak with a client before their first appointment to ensure that I can meet their needs and expectations. The first session, or intake, is usually one hour long and is designed to help me understand a client's current concerns, treatment history, and personal history and development from a variety of vantage-points. We will then work to put together an initial plan for treatment which will dictate how often a client is seen and for what kind(s) of treatment.
