I was incredibly pleased with my visit with Dr Shethi. Her team is so friendly, and she did all of the testing with me, and reviewed it as we went along. This was one of the shortest yet most thorough eye visits I've ever had!

Dr. Sheekha Sethi is a therapeutic optometrist specializing in comprehensive eye health examinations, eyeglasses and contact lens fittings, dry eye treatment, diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease, and co-management of laser vision correction and cataracts. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA, the oldest and most established eye care program in the country.
During her post graduate rotations and dedicated work at VA hospitals and Ophthalmology practices, Dr. Sethi further developed her skill set to manage ocular disease, with a focus on diabetic retinopathy, age related macular degeneration, cataracts, corneal disease, laser vision correction, and glaucoma. Prior to this, Dr. Sethi completed her undergraduate studies with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology from Loyola University in Chicago, where she was born and raised.
Before taking over Cohen Eye Associates, Dr. Larry Cohen, now retired, worked closely with Dr. Sethi as he mentored and prepared her to take over his family’s practice, in business since 1949.
Dr. Sethi is certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry, a member of the American Academy of Optometry, American Optometric Association, and the Texas Optometric Association. Her passion for fashion is fulfilled by the retail aspect of owning her own practice and having the opportunity to travel to places like Milan to hand pick the highest quality in eyewear for her patients. When she’s away from the office, Dr. Sethi enjoys spending time with her husband and baby girl as they explore Houston.

Dr. Sethi was wonderful! She explained in detail what she was looking for during each test and went through the results to show me what my scans meant. It was really neat to learn about and see why she's doing what she's doing. She also took a few minutes after my appointment to help me with frames prior to her next appointment. The entire staff was great, and the office was super convenient and really nice. I'd definitely recommend.

We arrived real early and were taken almost immediately. The office features some of the best technology in eye care and the doctor takes the time to make sure you have a very comprehensive exam. Support staff has always been great and that hasn't changed.

Dr. Sethi was great. I have an eye phobia, but Dr. Sethi was sensitive and professional and she uses technology that allows her to get comprehensive readings without ever touching my eyes or getting too close to my eyes (and no eye drops). Her office also has many good-looking frames.
