Doctor was great! She sat down and talked to me. Didn't rush and seemed really engaged. She explained what was happening and presented different options for me to consider which ultimately resulted in me not doing any unnecessary procedures .

Sheila Chhutani, M.D., M.B.A., is originally from Chicago, Illinois. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri in 1995 and graduated from St. Louis University School of Medicine in 1999, where she was active on the admissions board. In 2003, Dr. Chhutani completed her training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. She was chief resident during her last year. She moved to Dallas in 2004 for a fellowship in Advanced Pelvic Surgery. She began practicing medicine with Gyn/Ob Associates in January 2007. Dr. Chhutani focuses on minimally invasive gynecological procedures, including laparoscopy using the DaVinci robot and vaginal procedures. She also offers obstetric and general gynecology services with a focus on fibroids and menopause. In her free time, she enjoys serving on various committees in the hospital, traveling and spending time with family

I have been trying to get an appointment with her for months and she was always booked and I can see why. I truly felt her genuine compassion and concern for her patients. She was very thorough and made sure all my questions were answered and made me feel extremely comfortable and cared for . Her staff was very professional and pleasant as well. Staff was super friendly from when I first arrived. The wait was no more than 15 minutes, it seemed that as soon as I finished filling out the paperwork I got called in. Dr. Chhutani was very attentive, listened to my concerns, and addressed them accordingly. She was very open and accommodating!

Dr. Chhutani is very knowledgeable, friendly, and personable. She patiently answers any questions and consistently has helpful answers. I usually have very little wait time, but today's visit was a bit longer and unavoidable, due to her having to run up to delivery a baby. Still only about 15-20 minutes, though.

This was my first appointment at this doctor's office. My wait time was brief..less than 20 minutes. The one on one session with the doctor was good..she asked a lot of questions which is great. The only thing I would have liked was to have my height/weight/blood check and personal medication history done more privately. The woman who took me back brought me to what looked like an open office area with no doors and checked my BP then asked me about what medications I was on..and as I looked around and was speaking to her, I could see people walking up and down the hallway..a nurse was on the telephone in front of us talking on the phone, I saw a patient come in and chat with another nurse who was sitting across the hall from us at another desk. Then my height and weight were taken in the same open office area. I would have liked a little more privacy during this part of my appointment. Other than that the 2nd half of my appointment with the doctor was fine.

When the medical assistant took me to the interview room, she continued interviewing me even after another patient had came in. I feel this was a patient privacy violation. The doctor was very informative and open to answering my questions. Although, I did feel like the visit was rushed. She made me feel like she was in a hurry. She did not knock before entering my room which I felt uncomfortable with assuming that I could have been undressed. The doctor did not attempt to form any type of connection with me. She was so straight to the point that I felt like a stranger did my exam. On the bright side, the visit was the fastest I have ever experienced, the patient history paperwork could be done online, minimum paperwork was done in office, and the wait time was incredible. I, unfortunately, do not feel like I will visit this clinic again.
