Dr. Sheila Farhang is a board-certified dermatologist and double-fellowship trained cosmetic surgeon as well as a reconstructive Mohs micrographic (skin cancer) surgeon. Dr. Sheila” as many know her as, stands out in the dermatology space as she has expertise in both integrative skincare and cutting-edge procedures. She is also highly regarded in the female empowerment space being a founder, CEO, and multi-business owner.
Dr. Sheila attended the University of Texas for her undergraduate and medical degrees. Dr. Sheila then completed her dermatology residency at the University of South Florida Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery. During this time, she augmented her surgical education with additional training with plastic surgeons. Upon completion, she was selected for a position at arguably one of the most competitive programs in the country for dual fellowship at the Skin Institute of South Florida and Hollywood Dermatology in the Miami, FL area. During this time, she also completed a year-long entrepreneur and leadership program through the Advancing Innovation in Dermatology led by Harvard faculty and international industry leaders.
As a rising leader in the field, Dr. Farhang has authored numerous publications in top dermatology journals, has written textbook chapters, and has been invited to present her research internationally. Dr. Farhang is also principle investigator for dermatology clinical trials.

Hands-down my favorite dermatologist I’ve seen to date. She explained the reasoning behind her treatment medication selection for me in a very concise way that was easy for me to understand. I felt like I was having a conversation with a friend opposed to getting lectured by a doctor on what they think I should do regarding my acne.

There seems to have been a mix-up with appointment times and needed lengths as I waited for 2hrs for a procedure that generally takes 60 mins max. It appears that the appointment wasn't scheduled correctly and consequently the doctor had to see other patients while I waited. The frustration is that they failed to explain the circumstances, or to provide me with the option to wait and or reschedule. Instead they just had me sit there for 2hrs without communicating. I was disappointed with the lack of communication or respect for my time. Dr. Farhang did reach out after the appointment and agreed that they had made a scheduling error and apologized for the lack of communication.
