About Dr. Michelle Goedken
Dr. Goedken is a double board-certified dermatologist and Mohs surgeon practicing in Tucson, Arizona. She received her undergraduate degree in biomedical science from Grand Valley State University in Allendale, MI.
She then completed medical school at Des Moines University, where she earned both her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree and a Master of Science in Anatomy. During her time there, she served as president of Sigma Sigma Phi medical honor society.
Following medical school, Dr. Goedken completed a traditional rotating internship at O’Bleness Memorial Hospital in Athens, Ohio. She then completed her dermatology residency at Affiliated Dermatology in Scottsdale, Arizona, where she was chief resident in her final year.
Dr. Goedken is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, and the American Society for Mohs Surgery. Additional professional memberships include the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, American Osteopathic Association, Tucson Society of Women Physicians, and the Skin Cancer Foundation.
She has been practicing general and surgical dermatology for the past six years and enjoys providing full-spectrum dermatology care to patients of all ages. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Goedken advocates for skin cancer education and prevention as Mrs. Arizona International 2022. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.

I was nervous when I walked in because all the nurses were very fancy and put together, and I came in after working a night shift. I have atopic dermatitis in a private region, and these women made me feel so safe and comfortable! Highly recommend! They listened and were tender about the topic since it’s embarrassing, but they made it so comfortable. Just because these women all look like beautiful Barbies, they act like angels.
