Dr. Tank is originally from Michigan and completed her undergraduate studies at The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience. She then went on to receive her Doctor of Optometry degree at The Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, IL.
Dr. Tank completed her primary care rotation at Solo Eye Care and Eyewear Gallery in Chicago, IL where she gained experience in primary care eye exams, diabetic eye exams, urgent care visits, and myopia management. She completed her ocular disease internship in Arizona at East Valley Ophthalmology where she worked closely to co-manage the pre and post-op care of patients having cataract, glaucoma, and corneal surgeries. Lastly, she completed her specialty contact lens rotation at the Cornea and Laser Eye Institute in Teaneck, NJ where she fit keratoconus patients in scleral and custom soft contact lenses as well as co-managed pre and post-op care of patients having refractive and various keratoconus surgeries.
