Dr Shoshanah Kahn is a cardiologist specializing in heart rhythm disorders (cardiac electrophysiologist). Dr Shoshanah Kahn graduated from medical school from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, NY in 1990 with special distinction in cardiovascular research in 1990. She then completed her internal medicine residency at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, New York NY in 1993. Following her internal medicine residency, she pursued a cardiology fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center, Bronx NY, until 1996. Dr Kahn completed an additional two years of training in cardiac electrophysiology and pacing at McMaster University Medical Center, Hamilton Ontario Canada, and participated in research into the treatment of atrial fibrillation and syncope (fainting). She thereafter was a research fellow in cardiac electrophysiology at McMaster University Medical Center. She since then has been in private practice and has over 15 years of experience. She currently performs pacemaker/defibrillator implantation and electrical studies of the heart, and has privileges at North Shore University Hospital, Manhasset, NY and Long Island Jewish Hospital, Queens NY.
