About Sigalit Shavit
Mission statement:
As a Nurse Practitioner, I am dedicated to preventing, curing, and improving the lives of patients with diseases affecting the nervous system through patient care, research, and education. I strive to provide safe, holistic, patient-centered care while maintaining cultural sensitivity and confidentiality for all patients. With over 15 years of experience in the healthcare field, I have been helping my patients and their families improve their health by encouraging active participation in their own care through compassion and education. I am committed to keeping my knowledge and skills current through personal growth and continuous learning. Additionally, I am certified to administer Botox and dermal fillers, helping individuals feel and look better by minimizing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles caused by facial expression and aging.

I got there in terrible pain. When I was seen, I explained what was going on and even told her that I had already sent my MRI and X-rays. I went there looking for an explanation for the back pain that won’t go away. She gave me a blood test order, asked if I had been to the gynecologist recently, and also told me to go to the ER. She did a neurological exam to check if there was a pinched nerve, and then I was given vitamins through an IV. I left there in even more pain.
Anyway, I just wasted my time

Took the time to fill out paperwork online which they only had ID and insurance card from it. I had to fill out again 4 pages of paperwork when I got there. I then had to wait 30 mins from my scheduled appointment.

First of all, the office called me 10 minutes before my appointment to tell me they couldn’t accept me without an insurance refferal. In addition, so kindly asked if the doctor could wait 10 minutes for me since I hit a traffic jam and she refused until I insisted they plead again for me. I was the last patient of the day and I expressed how badly I was feeling and that I had driven 30 minutes to get there. What kind of a doctor lacks that much empathy to not be willing to
wait 10 minutes for a patient? I would have been in the office for those 10 minutes regardless if I made it on time. This website also needs to be better connected with the office. perhaps not offering same day appts because confirming insurance takes time, clearly.
