“Simona is a fantastic dermatologist! The office itself was cute, clean, and full of friendly faces at the reception desk. I got in for my appointment on time, and was seen quickly. Simona explained my condition in a respectful and kind manner. I walked in with a lot of anxiety, but her bedside manner immediately put me at ease. There was absolutely no feeling of being "upsold" - if anything, they were aware of the complications of insurance and were happy to answer any questions I had. The nurse was also extremely knowledgeable on the procedure I'd be getting, and answered some questions I had on insurance.
As someone with a history of skin cancer in the family, Simona did a mole check and I was very happily surprised that she didn't immediately ask to remove moles. It was a relief that she prefers observation every 6 months rather than cutting anything that seems irregular. If you have any fear at all around dermatologist visits, Simona is the perfect pick!!”

About Simona Fikhman
Simona Fikhman, MS, PA-C is a California State and National Board Certified Physician Assistant. She completed her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Hofstra University in Long Island, NY. Simona has been specifically trained in Dermatology and has a great deal of patient experience in Medical and Surgical Dermatology. She provides a wide range of services for adult and pediatric patients, including diagnosing and treating acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, warts, skin cancer and rashes.
Simona has a passion for healthy skin and tries to address dietary and lifestyle modifications for the best possible outcomes.
As a vital member of our surgical team, Simona works closely with Dr. Rubinstein to achieve good aesthetic outcomes in skin cancer and Mohs surgeries and other surgical procedures. Her friendly disposition also helps our younger patients feel at ease and follow treatment protocols.

Very satisfied with my visit! Simona was excellent, very attentive and helped me with my skin issue very well. Was able to get everything I needed in just one appointment.
