Dr. Sina Aboutalebi is a board-certified dermatologist that treats patients of all ages with their skin care needs. He performs medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. His professional interests are varied and include the treatment of acne, psoriasis, eczema and rosacea, along with multiple other skin conditions. He performs full body examinations and focuses on the prevention and treatment of skin cancers such as basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma and melanoma.
A native of the DFW Metroplex, Dr. Aboutalebi graduated cum laude with a degree in Biology from the University of Dallas in 1998. Following college, he worked closely with the community as a high school Biology teacher and volleyball coach at MacArthur High School in Irving, TX. In 2001 he attended medical school at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas where he was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society and graduated with honors in 2005. Following medical school, Dr. Aboutalebi completed an internship in Internal Medicine and residency in Dermatology at Texas Tech where he became well-versed in medical and surgical dermatology. He gained extensive exposure to complex surgical cases due to the overwhelming number of skin cancers in West Texas. During residency, Dr. Aboutalebi also participated on multiple research projects with subsequent publications in major dermatologic journals.
His personal hobbies include fishing, biking and racquetball.

Dr. Sina is Professional and thorough. He takes time to examine the areas of my son's concern. We are there for acne/oily skin consultation. I like it that he has a prepared printed instruction that I can take home with me so we can follow the regimen. His office is nice, the atmosphere is homey.

The reception staff is very helpful and friendly. Dr. Aboutalebi is also friendly, but he didn't take much of an interest in me. I only saw him for 10 minutes and he only asked general questions such as how long have I had acne... He didn't inquire into my diet or as to whether I exercised.
