Sinead Flood, O.D., is a board-certified optometrist and ocular disease specialist. She has extensive experience with glaucoma and refractive surgery post-operative care.
Dr. Flood completed her undergraduate degree at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL, before joining Teach for America for four years, providing education for Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools. After her tenure, she returned to school at the Indiana University School of Optometry in Bloomington, IN, where she earned her Doctor of Optometry with high honors.
After graduation, Dr. Flood completed a 13-month residency at the Cincinnati Eye Institute, one of the largest tertiary eye care centers in the country, where she specialized in ocular diseases. During her residency, she gained extensive post-graduate training for glaucoma, retina conditions, cornea conditions, neuro-ophthalmology, urgent care, dry eye, uveitis, and post-operative care.
Dr. Flood is a diplomate of the American Board of Optometry and is working towards a Fellowship in the American Academy of Optometry.
