Dr. Ramakrishnan went to medical school in Chennai, South India. Her initial pediatric training was in the United Kingdom where she was a member of the Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health. She moved to the USA in 2004, and completed her residency at the Brooklyn Hospital Center in New York. Dr. “Rama” as she is known to us, served as chief resident and was awarded the best resident for courtesy, respect, and professionalism. In her free time, she loves to read, spend time with her family, and food blog. Dr. Rama is a board certified pediatrician and has 15 years experience. She works with all types of health issues concerning children, and enjoys newborn care and working with adolescents. She worked in Virginia for three years in both a private setting, and in student health at UVA. She moved here in the summer of 2012 with her husband and two children. Dr. Rama is accepting new patients.
