About Dr. Kristian Abarca
My name is Kristian Abarca, and I am a dedicated healthcare provider with a diverse background and a passion for holistic care. Originally from Clovis, NM, my family and I relocated to Willcox in 2018 to pursue opportunities that have led my husband and me to fulfilling careers within the community. We have a 7-year-old son who is very active in sports and is our absolute pride and joy. We love that we get to raise our child in a small, quiet town and have made Willcox our home.
While my childhood dream was to become a pediatrician, my journey took me on a different path that ultimately led me to a rewarding profession as a nurse practitioner. I am committed to enhancing the well-being of my patients across all age groups, blending conventional and homeopathic medicine to cater to individual needs and preferences.
I obtained my nursing qualifications beginning in 2010 and worked as a nurse while advancing my education. I have an Associate’s in Nursing from Clovis Community College, a Bachelor’s in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington (2016), and a Doctor of Family Nursing from Bradley University (2020). My expertise spans chronic care management, nurse leadership, hospice/palliative care, primary care, and aesthetics, reflecting my diverse experience in the healthcare field.
Over the last several years, I have had the privilege of serving the Willcox community as a primary care provider, where I have continually strived to deliver comprehensive and compassionate healthcare services. Additionally, my involvement in local hospice care remains close to my heart.
In pursuit of furthering my knowledge and skills, I have delved into aesthetics and alternative therapies, owning and leading a team at Lazul, a medical spa in Willcox. Together with like-minded professionals, we offer a range of services tailored to promote wellness and rejuvenation in our community and beyond.

Dr. kristian was probably one of the worst Doctor I've met.. She was pushy and I had to call her, if I didn't then I probably wouldn't get a call from her, and she also told me "I have clients back to back" like if she was trying to say "hurry up".. I don't know how people said great things about her but she did not treat me how she was suppose to treat me.
