I am obsessed with Westlake Dermatology and Dr. Kollipara! This is the best experience I have ever had at a doctor's office. The office was easy to access, and felt more like a med spa rather than a stale hospital which made the waiting room experience so much more relaxing and enjoyable. The people were kind and helpful from reception to checkout. Everyone I met truly cared about me as a person and my experience. Dr. Kollipara was super knowledgeable and communicated everything in a way that was easy to understand. Her assistant was also incredibly impressive and relatable and didn't just ask generic questions. Best bedside manner I've ever experienced. So glad I switched to Westlake, because I'm never leaving!

Ramya Kollipara, MD is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained cosmetic dermatologic surgeon specializing in the practice of both cosmetic and medical dermatology. Dr. Kollipara received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology with honors from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She earned a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine, where she graduated at the top of her class and was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society.
Dr. Kollipara completed an internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Colorado- Denver and then a clinical research fellowship in Houston, where she led various clinical trials involving new treatments for psoriasis, eczema, acne, shingles, pre-cancerous skin lesions, and melanoma. She completed her dermatology residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, where she served as chief resident during her final year. Subsequently, Dr. Kollipara completed a prestigious laser and cosmetic surgery fellowship program at Cosmetic Laser Dermatology in La Jolla, California. During her fellowship, she was involved in cutting-edge clinical research for novel cosmetic treatments involving fillers, neuromodulators and lasers.
Dr. Kollipara is an expert in the use of lasers to improve a variety of medical and cosmetic conditions including acne, rosacea, scars, acne scars, birthmarks and wrinkles. She specializes in skin rejuvenation therapies, including neuromodulators (such as Botox and Dysport), facial augmentation with fillers, liposuction, sclerotherapy, skin tightening, kybella, and rejuvenation of the aging chest, neck and hands.

I wanted to consult for 2 specific issues but the staff said that the doctor could only see 1 issue at a time because otherwise doctor will not be able to spend in-depth time on a specific issue. When I went into see the doctor, the doctor looked at my issue for less than 2 mins.. So what was the point of saying that doctor cannot look at more than one issue at a time?

The staff made the experience! Everyone was so kind and welcoming. I was so nervous at first, but they were just amazing. Their communication skills and sincerity put me at ease. They listened to any questions/concerns I had and were patient and understanding when explaining things.
Also, I loved the office space; the aesthetic is gorgeous. I already have my next appt scheduled!
