Sloan Ford is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and native to the D.C. metropolitan area. She obtained an undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences at Drexel University with a minor in Dance. Realizing that nursing was her calling, she went back to school to Marymount University and obtained a Bachelors in Nursing. For over five years, She worked around the D.C. area as a nurse in Internal Medicine, Cardiac Telemetry, and Labor & Delivery. She completed her Family Nurse Practitioner degree at Walden University and graduated with honors as a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She has a passion for Women’s Health and is excited to bring her passion for medicine and patient education to CWH. In her spare time, she enjoys trying new restaurants, seeing the latest movies and taking dance classes.
