Great! She listened and asked pertinent questions. Made me feel comfortable.
She was unprofessional and unfocused throughout the appointment and did not have a bedside manner or appear to make any effort to form a positive or supportive connection. I did not feel listened to or heard. Alarmingly she did not have a good handle on my current medications themselves or relation to my diagnoses or situation. She made me feel judged and when asking about my work was invalidating of my work. This was a consult, but having over ten years of receiving psychiatric and therapeutic care and being a mental health worker myself, I was disturbed by her care. Please seek out a more experienced, compassionate, and qualified provider, particularly if you’re seeking person-centered, holistic care. If you are looking for someone to fill a prescription who has only a few years experience, she could be a good choice. If you are looking for quality care, go elsewhere. I was truly looking forward to this interaction based on her online profile but absolutely do not reconnect this provider.

I've only seen Dr. Gautam once, but I already scheduled a follow-up. She was calm and asked good questions. She seems both serene and no-nonsense, which gave me confidence in her ability to treat me.
