She also holds a PhD in forensic psychiatry from the Serbsky State Scientific Center for Social and Forensic Psychiatry in Moscow, USSR.
Dr. Amoashiy received her post-doctoral education including her residency and fellowship training at the Stony Brook University Hospital and the North Shore University Hospital of Manhasset. She is a member of the American Psychiatric Association.
Dr. Amoashiy has a very comprehensive knowledge of pharmacology. Her medical career also encompasses several teaching positions, research studies, and presentations.
