Dr. Soheila Vossough graduated with honors from State University of New York at Binghamton where she was awarded Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. She received her medical degree from New Jersey Medical School- UMDNJ, Newark, New Jersey. She went on to complete her residency in Internal Medicine and her fellowship in Pulmonary Medicine at UMDNJ.
Upon completing her training, Dr. Vossough joined the staff of University Hospital, serving as Assistant Professor of Medicine in Division of General Medicine from 1993 to 1997 after which she left to Pursue a private practice.
Dr. Vossough continues to serve as a physician specialist and Assistant Clinical Professor at Global TB Center- Rutgers.

The office staff was very friendly and attentive to my questions. The doctor had excellent bedside manner and communicated with me clearly. She answered all my questions and was very through for my physical exam.

While the doctor was nice and decent enough, the office did not pass the vibe check, in my opinion. I had to fill out a whole long form even though they should have had all my information through Zocdoc. I was also asked verbally about a lot of the information on the form, even though I already filled out the form. I get that they do that to confirm identity, but I don't think that goal required that much repetition of well-trodden ground.
There are comics taped to the cupboards in exam rooms that are jokes but seem to indicate an attitude opposed to patients' bodily self-knowledge, as well as casual anti-fatness. The staff also were not wearing COVID masks (yes, I know they're no longer required), despite the uptick in cases. COVID is a mass disabling event, 1500 people still die every week from it, and for those it doesn't kill, it often leads to serious effects on the brain, the cardiovascular system, etc.
