Sonia is a California licensed and ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist. Sonia received her undergraduate degree in the area of Communication Sciences and Disorders at California State University, Sacramento, a distinguished program for speech and hearing science. Sonia completed her Master’s degree at Midwestern University, where she was extensively trained in Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC), minimal pairs, maximal oppositions, and the Hanen approach.
Sonia has worked with clients in the areas of: child language, AAC, TBI, aphasia, apraxia of speech, fluency, and articulation/phonology. She has worked in a variety of settings, including: inpatient clinic, outpatient clinic, private clinic, and the Los Angeles Unified School District.
