My first impression was i felt comfortable right when she said hello. Dr. Bacchus was very professional and also a good listener and that I believe to be important in order for a healthy doctor/patient relationship to grow. She was sincere. Upfront. Clear. Listened quite thoroughly and asking me questions along the way to really understand what I was trying to say. She was generous and kind. I respect her and made appointment to see her again in few weeks. Thank you for finding her for me on such short notice! Great job!

I am a general, psychosomatic medicine and addiction medicine psychiatrist. I am a provider for Suboxone and Vivitrol injectable. My judicious use of medications with psychotherapy allows my patients to get well in the quickest and easiest way possible. My subspecialized focus in medical psychiatric issues includes detoxification and pain management.
After completing my BS degree at UC Irvine and my MD at Howard University in Washington DC, I started my internship in psychiatry at King/Drew Medical Center in Los Angeles. I later finished my residency and geriatric psychiatry fellowship at UCLA-NPI.
I do not accept insurance. I do have a biller who can submit electronic claims to your insurance for direct payment to you. Typically patients receive 50-80% from their PPO insurance plan. Rates range from $150-300. I have lower fees for monthly prescription visits.
I have been in practice since 1995. My broad background and experience with inpatient and outpatient treatment is extensive. This coupled with enthusiasm and compassion makes getting well easy. Setting an appointment is now easy, too. I look forward to meeting you.
