It was a good experience. The staff and doctor listened well to understand the trouble I was having with my current glasses in a new set of circumstances. I found a nice pair of frames that fit my face well, and everything regarding my insurance benefits was explained clearly so I understood my options and how much everything would cost out-of-pocket for various upgrades.

I am originally from Utah, but fell in love with the Northwest while attending school in Oregon at Pacific University College of Optometry. I completed my undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University with a degree in Italian. I graduated from Pacific after completing clinical rotations in specialty contact lenses, ocular disease, and low vision care. While studying at Pacific, I also worked as a clinical interpreter for Spanish speaking patients.
I have been focused mainly on the primary care of eye diseases, eyeglasses, and contact lens fitting. But I also have experience in pediatric eye care, pre- and post- operative care, glaucoma treatment, and low vision rehabilitation. My goal is to provide the best possible eye care to a wide variety of ages and backgrounds. I am a member of the American Optometric Association and the Optometric Physicians of Washington.
In my 'spare time' I enjoy cooking, sports, spending time outdoors, and especially spending time with my family. My wife, Anna, and I are the proud parents of two little girls and a new baby boy.

I was in the office for less than an hour during which time I had an exam, made my choice from a large selection of frames and lenses, was fitted for my new frames, and paid the bill. The staff is always very friendly and professional. My only wish is that they had weekend appointments available even if only one weekend every two months.
