Dr. Stacy Mallare is a doctorally-prepared, nationally board-certified family psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner providing medication management and supportive talk therapies to children, adolescents, and adults. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice, Master's in Nursing, and Bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland. The conditions she commonly treats include depression and anxiety, as well as obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), eating disorders, trauma disorders including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and substance use disorders. The therapeutic modalities she draws from are cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy. Work with Dr. Mallare will be collaborative, where together you will discuss expectations for treatment and create a unique plan of care. To ensure a well-rounded approach to care, she works closely with other healthcare professionals, including primary care providers, therapists, and social workers.
