Dr. Rous’ career has fortuitously positioned him along the leading edge of many of the modern advances in ophthalmology over the past 30 years.
He developed a simplified anesthesia technique for cataract surgery which can be applied to other eye surgery procedures as well. Dr. Rous' work on "Simplified sub-Tenon's Anesthesia," as well as other papers, have been published in several peer reviewed journals. Dr. Rous has now incorporated into his practice the latest technology intraocular implants which include the FDA approved Restor®, Tecnis® and Crystalens® for stigmatisms and to help patients see distant and reading without glasses.
Dr. Rous is also a Clinical Assistant Professor at Nova-Southeastern University.

Besides the wait time to be more than an hour, he did not take care of me as he should have. He asked why I was there and when I told him he just made a quick look into my eyes, gave me a coupon for eye drops and told me I could leave.
