Dr. Stephanie Dare Singleton is Board certified in both obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive endocrinology and infertility by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
An Atlanta native, Dr. Singleton has been a part of the medical team at GRS since 2008. Prior to 2008, Dr. Singleton managed the diagnosis and treatment of infertility patients at Southeastern Fertility Center in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina and was assistant professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.
Dr. Singleton earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Presbyterian College, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Georgia Baptist College of Nursing, where she was a magna cum laude graduate. She received a Doctor of Medicine degree from Mercer University School of Medicine before completing her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Tennessee. Dr. Singleton received her fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at The Jones Institute for Reproductive Medicine, Eastern Virginia Medical School, known for producing the first in vitro fertilization pregnancy in the United States.
During her fellowship she conducted research in the area of male factor infertility and uterine cavity evaluation. She was awarded The Endocrine Fellows Foundation Research Grant for her pursuit of research in male factor infertility and her research was published in peer review medical journals to include Human Reproduction and Reproduction, Fertility and Development.
A Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Singleton is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, the American Medical Association, the Atlanta Obstetrics and Gynecological Society, the Medical Association of Georgia, and the Georgia Association of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Singleton is also active in many Atlanta Women’s groups such as the Atlanta Women’s Network. She speaks frequently in her areas of interest to include in vitro fertilization, PCOS, male factor infertility, and premature ovarian failure.
