Dr. Revels is easy to talk to and understand. She is very thorough. Her nurse is equally nice to work with. It might be important for new patients to understand that the staff does not see all that information we enter on the website prior to the visit. Apparently they only get the first page or two.

****ATTENTION-PHYSICALS ARE ONLY SCHEDULED UP TO 10:30 AM DAILY***Dr. Stephanie Revels developed her interest in Medicine, healing and most importantly, helping people early in her life. Raised in St. Louis, Mo she moved to Kansas City after High School to enter the six year medical school at the University of Missouri Kansas City.
Upon graduation, Dr. Revels began her internship at Shadyside Hospital in Pennsylvania. Then, acting on an opportunity to serve her country, she joined the United States Air Force stationed in Tokyo. It was here that she had the unique opportunity to practice Medicine in Korea, the Phillipines and Hong Kong. She then returned stateside and began her residency in Family Practice Medicine at the historically reknown Morehouse College and received several awards for excellence in Pediatric care.
Dr. Revels returned to Kansas City in 1996, continuing to work in Health care, but would be driven by her passion to provide each patient with the utmost “individualized” care. With that mission she opened her own practice in 2001.
Dr. Revels is passionate about providing care for the community and remains a mentor to medical students at UMKC. She is a member of the National Medical Society, American Women in Medicine Association, the Kansas Medical Society and sits on the credentialing board for physicians with Blue Cross and Blue Shield.

She was lovely, engaging, professional, and easy to talk to. Surgery is clean, modern and well equipped. I think it is important to find a regular doctor for consistency of care, but I hadn't found anyone I felt comfortable with to date. I'll stick with Dr Revels now.
