The most important thing I can do as an internist is listen carefully to you as my patient. Patients are acutely aware of their own bodies and can be excellent historians. A good history is the fastest means to the correct diagnosis and treatment. You and I are a team and must work together for your best health.
I specifically chose internal medicine because of the overall breadth of the specialty. Taking care of the whole patient and utilizing diagnostic skills has always been very satisfying and rewarding.
I enjoy walking, reading and spending time with my family. I particularly like following my favorite sports teams in football, baseball and basketball.
