A native Texan, Dr. Talley graduated from Texas Tech University and Baylor College of Medicine with high academic honors. He received his residency training at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and is Board Certified in Otolaryngology. Dr. Talley is a Fellow of the American College of Surgery. Upon completion of his residency training, Dr. Talley joined the practice in 1987. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Dr. Talley sees patients at our Northeast and North Central locations. He sees adults and children for general ENT issues.

I will not be returning because of your office staff. I am VERY unhappy with the level of service I have received. I thought the doctor was great, but the office staff was not very helpful. I was sent to the wrong place for my testing. My orders were never faxed over and they were not helpful when trying to resolve this ordeal.

The use of the Ipad to check in was a little time consuming - especially since I had previously gone online and thought I was preregistered.
However, once I was taken to the back of the office I was very, VERY impressed with the thoroughness of the exam, the friendliness of the staff (everyone worked together - smoothly) and the knowledge of everyone. Dr. Talley knows his stuff and doesn't mind sharing it. Things were explained to me that had been a mystery for years and years. The next step was to keep goiing forward to find out why things were happening and what to do. Each issue was individually tested and addressed. . . Dr. Talley was patient, smart and funny. . . and thorough. All of my questions were addressed and/or answered.

Visit was very good. I am sure the doctor's popularity and many patients in the waiting room explains why I had to wait over one hour. But I called the previous day for an appointment, so I think they were "working me in." Did not really mind the wait. Dr. Talley is very professional and it was worth the wait.

The office went out of their way to have me seen the same day because I was in pain. He was very friendly and seemed to have a good working relationship with his coworkers which made everyone just work smoothly together. I had to have a nasal scope and he was patient and reassuring even though I had never had one and it was super uncomfortable. In and out and had all my concerns addressed.

The visit with Dr. Talley was fine. He was very nice and professional. The wait time was horrible. I waited 1 hour and 35 minutes. Then I got in and an assistant took me to a very small room where she checked my vitals. Then she took me back to reception, because there were no examining rooms available. There I waited another 20 minutes before seeing the doctor. That was totally unacceptable. I was with the doctor no more than 10 minutes and was very happy to at last be able to leave. Now I have to go to another facility on Hamilton Wolfe for tests. I will then have to come back to see Dr. Talley for the results. The tests are scheduled for August 12th. I have no idea what the date for that visit will be, but I do hope the wait won't be nearly as long. I'm hoping today was unusual and the next visit will be a much shorter wait. All the staff were very pleasant and professional. I appreciated that.

Zoc doc doesn't work properly with this office. You still have to use their laptop and do intake info. Also today's visit was a lot of shuffling around to different rooms as the rooms were not available.

The front office staff both times I've been has been completely silent. They are unfriendly and do not say anything to you when you arrive or sign in. The lady who makes the appointments is so sweet however.

to access tests ordered by other doctors and explain the results of
those tests.

Everyone on Dr. Talley's staff was outstanding. Dr. Talley took the time to carefully evaluate my situation and recommend the next steps to take to come to a resolution to my problem. Although additional tests will be required I appreciate someone who cares enough to make sure all bases are covered, regardless of the outcome. I highly recommend him and his staff to anyone who has ENT issues.

I was impressed by the concern shown by Dr. Talley. It was apparent that he did not know the reason for my dizziness problem, and suspected that it was not an ear problem and indicated that he was to refer me to other specialist to try to identify the cause and hopeful cure .

The staff in this office is not patient friendly. I was moved from room to room without explanation. Procedures were not explained. The purpose of my visit was met but the skills of the nurses and medical assistants were terrible.

He appears competent and knowledgable. He verbalized his diagnosis and treatment to his office worker for computer input but failed to explain his diagnosis and treatment plan to the actual patient . I read the information about the pharmaceuticals prescribed and could deduce the diagnosis and treatment plan. In his defense, I didn't ask questions but he appeared hurried. And I must say, his treatment and diagnosis was spot on. I am better!
