Dr. Burns is a diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is a previous adjunct clinical professor at the California College of Podiatric Medicine and the Barry University College of Podiatric Medicine. Practicing in the field of podiatry for more than 30 years, Dr. Burns is recognized as a leader in the treatment of common foot and ankle disorders.
After receiving his medical degree from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in 1975, Dr. Burns completed a residency at the Memorial Hospital of Warren in Michigan. His private practice quickly grew in the Detroit Metro area until his move to Phoenix in 1984. Since relocating, he has practiced podiatry exclusively in the Scottsdale/Metro Phoenix areas. Dr. Burns is a member of both the American and Arizona Podiatric Medical Associations.
