Dr. Steven Davis is a Southern California native who attended college at the University of Pennsylvania where he majored in English and received his bachelor of arts. He graduated magna cum laude with honors in his major. Dr. Davis obtained his post-baccalaureate premedical training at Tufts University in Massachusetts. He then performed extensive research in Pediatric Neurosurgery at Childrens Hospital, Los Angeles. Dr. Davis then went on to medical school at the University of California, San Diego. He returned to his native Los Angeles to complete his internship in General Surgery and his residency in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Southern California. His training focused on endocrine surgery, including diseases of the thyroid and parathyroid, as well as on minimally invasive endoscopic sinus surgery.
Dr. Davis has additional interest and expertise in allergy and voice disorders. Throughout his career, Dr. Davis has written many academic papers. He has also given a number of presentations, most recently on Image Guided Sinus Surgery at the Central Brazilian Otolaryngology Congress in Uberaba, Brazil.
Erin Shishido PAS, PA-C is a new addition to Dr. Davis’ staff. She attended UCLA and earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology. She completed her graduate work in Nevada where she received a Master of Science Degree in Physican Assistant Studies. Erin is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is licensed in the state of California. She is a member of the Society of Physician Assistants in Otorhinolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery, American Academy of Physician Assistants and California Academy of Physician Assistants. She is a sports fan who loves to work out and go to concerts.

My appt was 10:15AM, but I waited until 10:47AM. The receptionist said she called me while I was out in the lobby, but I did ask her to call my cell but she said she didn't know my hand gesture? Dr. Davis was attentive and listens by inputing notes into his laptop. He also explains what he thinks my illness was although I was there to ask for ear tube insertion surgery. I didn't understand when he told me to schedule appt with a dentist for ear pressure and hearing tests? Perhaps I didn't understand why and couldn't speak due to heavy nasal congestions that interferes with my speaking mechanism. I should've written down my questions if i feel being hindered by nasal congestoins while speaking.

I found Dr. Davis to have a very pleasant bedside manner. He made suggestions to address my medical condition and he was clear about how and when to follow up with him. He also made reference to one of the questions on the Intake paperwork which indicated to me that he actually read it.

He was a little late because of a surgery. It was not an issue. His staff advised me of the delay & made me feel comfortable.
Dr. Davis and his staff are very professional and friendly. He carefully outlined what steps he wanted to take & why.

Waited almost an hour before seeing the doctor. The reason for the long wait was due to a power outage the day before that caused a problem with their computer systems. Receptionist should have informed me when I arrived that there back logged and that the wait would be longer than usual.

Dr. Davis and his staff were fantastic in every respect. Actually, I had booked another recommended ENT in the same area, first. After being forced to wait in the other doc's waiting room for 50 minutes on the first appointment, I went to the desk and canceled the appointment. Dr. Davis saw me within 5 minutes of arrival in his office ... analyzed my issue ... provided a course of treatment and reassurance that my issue would be taken care of. If you have choice ... make the right choice.

I brought both of my parents (90yrs old) to Dr. Davis for a routine ear cleaning. Dr. Davis was exceptionally professional, gentle, pleasant and simply very kind with my parents. Both of my parents said he was the best "ear doctor" they've been to for this somewhat uncomfortable procedure. We will definitely return to Dr.Davis.
