While there was about a 20 minute wait, I was impressed by the fine orchestration once I was welcomed by the assistant. The people from reception to assistants to Dr. Eidt were all welcoming and took the time to have me feel heard. The care was excellent, and the cost seemed reasonable. Cannot speak highly enough.

Dr. Steven Eidt is a board-certified ophthalmologist who, in addition to his expertise in cataract, implant and laser surgery, specializes in eyelid surgery and both Botox and Restylane cosmetic treatments.
He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Kansas State University and received the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honorary Award from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City, Kansas. Dr. Eidt finished his internship at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, Washington. He then completed his ophthalmology residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois.
Dr. Eidt is on the medical staff of Our Lady of the Resurrection Medical Center and Highland Park Hospital.
In addition to private practice, Dr. Eidt is on the faculty of Northwestern University.

I was very anxious about this appointment but that went away immmediately after I met the individual who started taking my general background and eye exams. I then met dr. Eidt who was one of the most charismatic individuals I've ever met and made me feel comfortable immediately. He took his time and asked questions and made a stressful appointment very easy. I could not be more impressed or pleased and am very happy with my experience

The desk staff were friendly, but it was a long wait. The doctor kept interrupting me as I tried to describe my symptoms, and it was kind of a waste of my time to even come here.

Steven has EXCELLENT rapport with patients, is very easy with questions, and will not make you feel rushed. Explanations are clear/well focused and analogies are used to clarify. When I was finished with my 1st visit, just recently (11-13-15), I walked out so satisfied I'd found an eye-doctor to keep, and send my family to.
Dr. Eidt's assistant "Katie", is amazing. Personable, erudite, and explains things so very thoroughly. Both Dr. & Asst. are empathic, kind people, and Katie, as I mentioned, make a team you cannot beat for eye care!
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Will suggest practice to friends and colleagues, family is already directed to Dr. Eidt.

It was AWESOME!!!, he is very energetic up beat eye specialist (optometrist) i came across. He's a good man and if your nervous don't be he'll make you smile with his good humor. Overall id say he's the best and ill be visiting him for my next check up 100 percent. Thank you Dr. Steven,and i also want to extend my thanks to the staff as well, so polite and kind its the kind of warmth you feel when you spend time with your family on holidays that feeling of joy and happiness, thats what you get when you are there,so thank you all for an awesome experience.

Everything was fine except for the Tech, Zoe. Her hands smelled like cigarettes, and it was very strong. She should have washed her hands very well before seeing me. I left the office with a migraine. She was a rough in the way she conducted her conversation with me. She spilled eye drops on my face. Not a very gentle person.
Other than that, Dr. Eidt, the other tech, and the receptionist were so nice.

He was great, but the wait was pretty bad. All in all, I was there for 2 hours. It was very busy. The eye glasses selection was also somewhat limited.
