About Dr. Laura Blodgett

Dr. Laura Blodgett received her B.S. from the University of Rochester and her Doctorate of Optometry from the SUNY College of Optometry. During her training, she completed rotations at the Northport VA Medical Center on Long Island and the East New York Diagnostic and Treatment Center in Brooklyn, NY. Before moving to Chicago, Dr. Blodgett worked in private practice in New York City and Boston. She is passionate about medical mission trips and has worked on several of them in the Dominican Republic and El Salvador. She is able to conduct eye exams in both English and Spanish. Originally from Buffalo, NY, Dr. Blodgett is an avid Buffalo Bills and Sabres fan. She also enjoys skiing, running, cooking, and traveling.
