He is very interested in what your problem is. In other words, he cares. He take his time to listen to you, to explain what acupuncture can do for you and what he recommends. He does not rush. Very careful during the treatment listening to your feedback. The office is very clean and welcoming. Very nice music background.

Steven Gordon L.Ac., Dipl. Ac., Dip. CH, is the founder and owner of the Flatiron Acupuncture & Herbal Health Center. Steven is a New York State Licensed Acupuncturist and is Nationally Board Certified in both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
Steven was a member of the National Sports Acupuncture Association for over 10 years and continues to specialize in Acupuncture Sports Medicine utilizing the methods of Master Tung, the 20th Century’s greatest acupuncturist. Steven has studied with Master Acupuncturists and practices advanced techniques such as Dr. Tan’s Advanced Balance Method, I Ching Acupuncture and Classical Chinese Acupuncture as taught to him by Chang Y Hsien, Daoist Master at the Tai Hsuan Monastery in Honolulu, Hawaii. Steven is also an acknowledged expert in Master Tung Acupuncture and Optimal Acupuncture, having studied many years with Dr. Robert Chu, L.Ac., PhD. of the International Tung’s Acupuncture Research Association (ITARA).

I went there once so I can honeslty not recommend this professfional yet. However, he took the time to explain every step and to discuss carefully about my medical condition and symptoms. There was a real interaction. You see that he wants to build trust with his patient. He did not try to sell me Chinese herbs at the first visit, preferring to see first the result of the needles. Got my next appointment scheduled.
