Dr. Steven L. Haddad, a nationally and internationally recognized expert on total ankle replacement. He has been performing total ankle replacements for ten years, working with patients undergoing uncomplicated total ankle replacements, and those requiring deformity corrections in conjunction with their ankle replacement. It is his level of expertise which has caught the interest of Wright Medical Technologies, a leader in joint replacement surgery, and owner of the InBone Ankle Replacement System. Wright Medical has asked Dr. Haddad to lead a multi-disciplinary design team whose charge to create unique and innovative ankle replacement prosthesis. The team includes five other orthopaedic surgeons, five medical engineers, and marketing and administrative personnel. The new design is currently in process, with materials testing to begin soon.
