I have been seeing Dr. Koenig for many years. He is very thorough and has a very caring bedside manner. He always makes me feel good. He pays attention to my questions and comments and takes time to explain everything. I highly recommend Dr. Koenig. Additionally, his staff are very attentive and thoughtful.

Very straightforward. Went in for a contact lens prescription and yearly follow up. He saw me right away and was very nice/helpful. I'll likely go back next year for my follow up.

Front staff was more concered with eating than taking care of customers. I waited a long time..and he got my prescription totally wrong. Had to go somewhere else and have it revised. Total waste of time.

I wanted to like Dr. Koenig out of convenience (I just moved closeby), but my experience did not align with the patient reviews and credentials that I researched beforehand.
He unfortunately wrote the prescription to another person (a mistake that I easily could have corrected if I hadn't been dialated) and the prescription he wrote was far different from my long history of prescriptions (my eyeglass shop pointed this out to me when I dropped off my prescription). Perhaps as a function of his age, he does not use email so it has been difficult and frustrating to connect with him via phone between his work schedule and mine to correct the prescription and the name on the prescription.
Had his bedside manner been better than satisfactory, I would have overlooked these issues and continued to see him.
