Dr. Steven Pliskow is a Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist. Having completed the prestigious 6-year accelerated BS-MD program at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Albany Medical College of Union University, he received his specialty training at the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital. He has supervised the family planning clinic at the University of Miami. He is Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Palms West Hospital and the HCA East Florida Physician Leader for the OB Clinical Workgroup. He has numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals, including new innovative techniques for treating life-threatening obstetric and gynecologic disorders. Dr. Steven Pliskow is also Board Certified in Forensic Medicine and is among the elite few Forensic Obstetricians and Gynecologists in the country.

I was seen for my annual exam. Dr. Pliskow was in the room for less than 2 minutes. I guess some people think that fast is good for a pap and exam, but it seemed wrong and hurried.

I have been with Doctor Pliskow for over seven years for my gyn needs and the pregnancy of my daughter 5 years ago. If it wasnt for his wonderful demeanor I would not return because the wait times are completely absurd. Despite reports from staff that they have improved in this area, it was again not my experience. I arrived 15 minutes early for the" first appointment in the AM" and still was not seen my the Dr for an hour!!! There were only 2 of us in the office. I dont get it!! Very annoying.
