About Dr. Aliese Smith
Premier Associates For The Healthcare of Women are excited to announce our new OB/GYN physician, Dr. Aliese Smith; A University of Miami graduate, Board Certified, and Robotically Trained in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Dr. Smith's areas of focus include family planning,
infertility and preventive medicine. She devotes much of her time not only to patient care, but also to patient education.
She believes in empowering each patient with
understanding the structure and function of her own body; that this is not beyond the comprehension of every woman.
Dr. Smith and our staff are dedicated to providing individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care to the women of Belle Glade, Palm Springs and the surrounding areas.

Dr. Smith was very pleasant and took the time to talk and understand my issue. She gave several recommendations on how to help that didn't involve medication as the first alternative, which I appreciated.

There were many times I didn't feel heard here. Many times I felt that my request and my feelings were disregarded over and over. Or simply written off. I also sense a lack of communication between some of the nurses. Like being asked why I was there when you should know why im here because it's already been stated multiple times.
Overall I would not recommend this practice. I wanted to be able to, but felt unhappy every time I left because what I asked for as a patient never got done. It was always explained away and ignored. They need to work on hearing their patients wants and needs out. Not just taking your insurance and doing whatever they see fit.
