I was the fool who was late today and Dr. Sheiner and his wonderful team still took the time to STILL give me a check-up. I am certainly glad that they did see me as I learned a little too quickly that I needed a prescription! Thank goodness that Dr. Sheiner has an amazing team who stepped after he confirmed, to let me know not only what my insurance accepted, but what would be the best frames for my face and my life style! Wow, thank you for a visit I can't help but boast about!

Dr. Steven Sheiner is a board certified Optometric Physician and has been practicing in Boca Raton since 1998. He received his Doctorate in Optometry with Honors from Nova Southeastern University in 1997. Dr. Sheiner also completed an internship at the world renowned Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami. He specializes in comprehensive eye care, including vision correction, diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease, and surgical co-management. He is a skilled contact lens practitioner specializing in hard to fit contact lenses, including contacts for astigmatism, as well as multi-focal contact lenses.
Dr. Sheiner is one of only a handful of doctors locally certified and experienced in performing Corneal Refractive Therapy (CRT). He is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Florida Optometric Association, and the Palm Beach County Optometric Society. Dr. Sheiner is married and resides in Boca Raton with his wife and 2 children.

Dr Shriner was very kind and very professional. I had to bring my two year old with me unexpectedly and he was incredibly patient and understanding even though he had to listen to Thomas the Train while he was doing my exam! I think that says a whole lot about him as a person! His exam was thorough and he gave me two different kinds of contacts to try before deciding which to purchase. I'm very pleased with my first experience and would definitely recommend him!

The staff was not very welcoming. Acted almost like I was bothering them by being there. Then, they pressure you to use the machine to view your eyes, rather than dilate them - for an steep extra fee!

Excellent family eyecare practice. Longtime patient there and they're just as good to me now as they were when I was young. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable and Dr. Sheiner is as thorough as he is personable! Highly recommended.

Efficient, courteous, friendly/knowledgeable staff, nice office surroundings, advanced technology (digital retina photo; no "puffs" of air). Best of all, Dr. Sheiner corrected the contact lens prescription I received from a wholesale chain that didn't fit and didn't work which improved my comfort level and vision ability. I won't be going to anyone else from now on.
