Dr Stein was great, and there was no wait time. He corrected by eyeglass prescription and now I can see a lot better.

I booked this appt and didn’t know he was practicing out of an eye glass store. I was told when I got there that I would have to pay for the visit even though he supposedly accepted my insurance but that was only for contact or eyeglasses something or other.I had sent them my insurance card before my appt. still not sure why I was charged for the visit as if I had no insurance. Now its 615 pm and I had something irritating my eye all day so not much choice in whether or not to pay. Still don’t understand why if it shows he accepted my insurance was my insurance not accepted.

Dr Stein and his team are amazing! Dr Stein was very professional. I liked that he took the time to explain everything he was doing during my exam and answered all of my questions. Kimberly was extremely helpful, she took her time to help me find the perfect frames. She even helped me figure out my best options when it came to my insurance. I highly recommend Dr Stein and his team.

Dr. Stein seemed like he was having an off day, emotionally speaking. I feel like he's usually nicer and more welcoming. He wasn't necessarily rude, just kind "let's get to it and get you out of here" which can be appreciated sometimes. The lady in front is helpful and sweet.
Office could use some updating, but they seem to have some decent product here.

Dr. stein was very through with his exam. I am a 29 year old women and have been using glasses my whole life, Dr. Stein was the first doctor to ever exam me throughly and patiently. Would definitely recommend him.

I arrived a little early but the doctor had me scheduled for half an hour later than the time I put in ZocDoc, and I even double checked in my email to make sure it wasn't an error on my end. Dr. Stein is a little old and doesn't seem to be up on the most recent advances in eye care. His receptionist was nice and seemed more attune to what was going on than he did. There's two women who work in reception and one has much better customer service than the other once. If you just need a routine eye exam to get a prescription update, which is what I needed, I'd say maybe go elsewhere (although this place is relatively inexpensive.)

Had a great experience here. The office and equipment was "broken in," but the doctor does good work, and my prescription was right on. Have already recommended this place to friends!
**and the women who was working up front was INCREDIBLE! My insurance was giving her some problems and she juggled calling them and the other clients like a pro. Super friendly and made me happy to spend my money replacing lenses there.

Pros
Both the doctor and his staff were very courteous and patient with my two boys, who get bored waiting for anything. Did not rush through our exams and took the time to answer all of my questions. Made sure that we were happy with the fit of our glasses, when we came to pick the up.
Cons
Exam room was a little cramped. One of the machines used for our exams was outside of the exam room and fold up was being used. As a result the kids had to stand or stoop while using the machine, which wasn't for a few minutes. Eye glass selection on hand could be expanded, especially the kids section.

I thought the Dr. Stein and his staff were very professional, good with my kids, and patient in answering all of my questions. Judging him against other Ophthalmologist i've seen previously, the following would be my only two critiques. The examination room was somewhat small, so much so, that one of the machines he needed to use was outside of the room with fold away chair, that didn't accommodate one of son's shorter height. The store has a limited selection of eyeglass frames. Let me add that they did offer to order frames in a particular style or color, upon my request.

Very thorough and informative. Front desk personnel may need a shot of adrenaline to wake up but other than that, really enjoyed the doc.
