Dr. Steven Trostel was born in Dallas, TX. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology degree and a Bachelor of Science in Zoology degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He went on to attend Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center where he obtained his medical degree. After medical school, he performed his internship and residency in Obstretrics and Gynecology at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, TX. After residency, Dr. Steven Trostel joined his father, Dr. Robert Trostel, in private practice in Garland, TX, where they practiced together for 13 years. Dr. Steven Trostel moved his practice to Frisco, TX, after his father retired from the practice of medicine in 2009.
Dr. Trostel is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He maintains his board status annually by following the required process deemed necessary by the board.
